The WPS220001 Starter Motor is a high-performance 12V, 2.2kW reduction gear starter, specially designed to deliver strong starting torque in a lightweight, compact form. Ideal for modern SUV applications, this starter utilizes a noseless design and a gear reduction unit, making it efficient and dependable under demanding conditions.

Engineered for durability, the WP220 armature is dynamically balanced and supported by sealed ball bearings and bushings, ensuring smooth operation and extended life. For enhanced strength, the armature is reinforced with fiberglass banding and varnish impregnation. The moulded bar commutator and radially positioned one-piece brushes, powered by constant pressure springs, guarantee even wear and consistent electrical performance over time.
